spell FREEDOM.last paper was not as bad as i thought it would be.
considering how i dont understand the numerous graphs and their findings.
3/4 of the content of the lecture notes consist of graphs and more graphs.
to the point that i just blindly memorized the findings without really understanding.
cos its just impossible to do so.
but still, the paper wasnt as tough.
i hope i dont do too badly this sememester.
almost all the core modules i took are like crap so far.
my results were either average or barely above the mean.
was checking the honours requirements the other day
and it got me all depressed :(
oh well, whats done is done.
with no more core modules to clear next semester,
hopefully my CAP will make a great leap towards the 4.0
*shows positive smile.
but for now....
school's out, lets play! haha.
on a side note, was watching the news earlier on.
regarding the young Singaporean lawyer who was killed in india.
and the first thing that came to my mind was that-
terrorism must be condemned.
it'll be too simplistic and foolish to think that
all differences among different factions/political groups will be reconciled.
to each of them, they must hold belief in some sort of ideology,
be it twisted or not.
but, innocent lives shouldnt be sacrificed, should they?
for the greater good?
i dont think so.just go to show one thing,
we always say that men learn from the past.
those horrible wars served as a valuable lesson to all humankind.
but, men dont learn very well do they?
different eras, different aims, different ideologies,
but the same cruel, uncivilised ways.
there are some things that we cant control.
some things are just beyond us.
like natural disasters, or even accidents.
but
this?i wish for a relatively more peaceful world.
where is the love?
