vesicles>neurotransmitters>dentrites>voltage diff>change in resting potential>opening of Na+channels>Na+ ions rush in>opening of K+channels>K+ ions moving out>-70mV>resting potential once again>refractory period.
oh. and not forgetting nodes of Ranvier, gaps in myelin sheath.
im turning into such a nerd.
